About Us
At Redwood and Rose Massage, our philosophy is that the human body has the innate wisdom to heal and bring balance to itself. We facilitate this process by being present with our clients and creating a space which allows change to occur.
We firmly believe that a treatment plan is as individual as our clients. No one person is walking the same path, but we are all on the journey to well being. This is why we offer multiple modalities that range from clinical to therapeutic massage. From the deep work of Ashiatsu to the subtle work of Craniosacral Therapy, we can meet each client wherever they are on their path.
Our lives are complicated and doing the hard work of self care is not easy, we are here to work with you side by side and create a plan to bring wellness that lasts.
When you feel connected in mind, body, and spirit, real change can start to occur. Long lasting pains may begin to fade away, and the little things in life can bring a smile. So whether you are looking for deep relaxation to the euphoria of rejuvenation, we are here to walk with you to health and happiness.
Services

Ashiatsu Massage
Therapist Favorite! Ashiatsu is a form of bodywork where the practitioner uses their feet instead of their hands. They are then able to apply a broader pressure to the body, which in turn allows for deeper work. Using long, slow, rhythmic pressure, the body is able to let go more fully.

Red Light Therapy
In Red Light Therapy, the Red Light frequency penetrates into the muscle body and helps each cell become more efficient. This is done by stimulating the mitochondria within each cell body. By doing so, we can help the body rebuild healthy tissue.

Myofascial Therapy
Fascia is thin connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, blood vessel, bone, nerve fiber and muscle in place. When stressed, it tightens up. This therapy is good for those who do repetitive motions, who do not have enough mobility in their lifestyle, and someone recovering from an injury or surgery.

Dry Cupping Therapy
Can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. Cupping increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This may relieve muscle tension. It may also help form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue.

Hydrotherapy
Bentonite clay pads are heated up in a water bath to 160 degrees and placed on the body. This helps alleviate inflammatory pain, joint pain, arthritis, congestion, bruised tissue, and strains within a muscle. The heat prepares tense areas for deep tissue, reduces muscle spasm, and is very therapeutic following muscle soreness from physical activity.

Reiki
Reiki is a very gentle bioenergy therapy technique used for accessing energy fields in and around the body. Reiki enables deep relaxation and promotes healing. This technique can be applied with touch or no touch to the client. It allows the mind, body, and spirit to flow in harmony and help remove what is no longer serving you.

CBD Infusion
CBD has amazing anti-inflammatory, antidepressant, and antibacterial properties; making it a perfect ingredient in a soothing and calming massage. By promoting and balancing homeostasis, it enhances the healing process, bringing faster relief to sore joints and muscles.

Aromatherapy
Each session is personalized to what you need at that time. By using sustainability harvested essential oils, you can feel good about feeling good. Essentials oils can help promote relaxation and boost overall mood. Each oil holds its own benefits, bringing even more healing into the massage.
